I believe that honesty is the best policy. Although there are times that it sucks. While there are always excuses that can be made for a lie of any magnitude in nearly every situation, I try to stick with the "honesty is always best" policy. Come to think of it however, I look back and see all sorts of ways that the honesty first policy has been kicking me in my butt my entire life. It's earned me traffic tickets, lost relationships, ended friendships, lowered my grades, I don't know how much money, and more. I guess it really isn't the "best" policy by many definitions, nor the easiest on emotional terms. But I guess for now I'll stick with it. It hasn't killed me. Yet.
Oh. Yeah. This blog was started as an assignment for a class. We'll see how long it goes.
And my real name isn't Jack Russell. I have strong held beliefs about online privacy issues. Honest.
